Ocean front means something specific at Hali’i Kai. Buildings 13 through 15 sit directly above the lava rock shoreline, with nothing between the lanai and the water. Every other building with a view of the ocean looks across the fairways of the Waikoloa Beach golf course to reach it, which is a lovely outlook of its own, and a different one. If you are booking for the sound of the surf and a sunset that drops straight into the Pacific, the shoreline row is the one to ask for.
Our Makai Suite in building 14 is that row at ground level, with the Ocean Club a short walk along the shoreline path. From late spring through summer the sun sets most directly in front of these buildings, and in winter the whales pass close enough to watch with your morning coffee. Couples often book it as a one bedroom, which keeps the same lanai and the same view.
